10+ Theme Ideas For Your Next Boudoir Session

Whether it’s your 1st or your 5th boudoir session, having a theme or concept to get inspiration from can be soooo much fun! I’ve had a few sessions like this, and they are a ton of fun to plan and execute. They can infuse a lot of personality and be something totally unique, especially if you’ve done a boudoir before.

What you want to do first is think about what concept you’d like to inspire your shoot. Maybe that’s based on an aesthetic you really love, a hobby, or just a fantasy that you want to live out! It can be as subtle as including a specific prop or outfit, or go all in with everything! If you’re thinking a concept might be for you, but not sure where to start, this is exactly where you want to be. Let’s take a look at some previous shoots I’ve photographed where we infused some creative inspiration.

Birthday Babe

How freaking cool are those?! Like I said, so much personality and fun. I am always coming up with new ideas and themes and concepts in case anyone is ever looking for some, making Pinterest boards and just being inspired by a ton of different things. Here is a list of other ideas I’ve come up with that I’d love to work with:

  • Hotel Staycation

  • Floral Goddess

  • Old Hollywood

  • Celestial Witchy Queen

  • Book Club Meeting for One

  • Beach Babe

  • Cozy Girl Vibes

  • Bridal Beauty

  • Fine Art Nude

Plus, to make it even more interesting, some of these can get a whole new vibe if photographed outdoors!! Anyone have nude beach on their bucket list?! I love adding to this list and hearing what inspires YOU.

Whether you go for a classic boudoir photoshoot, or you want to get wild with a theme, I’m here to paint you like one of my French girls. Click the button to get more info and book your boudoir session!
